Background

TCI’s principal re-started a dying courier business with a clipboard and a dream in 2012. After training as a private investigator in 2013, the business’ focus pivoted from simple delivery to service of process. The business expanded rapidly, and in 2015 won a single-source, nationwide service contract with the Securities & Exchange Commission’s Division of Enforcement which was renewed annually four times. TCI’s principal profitably exited that business at the beginning of 2020 leaving behind ~35 employees, three offices, and one of the largest civil service operations on the east coast.

TCI’s principal spent the next few years focused primarily on non-traditional markets and investments around the world before TCI was born by request in 2023.
