Juror Intelligence

Providing an information edge for voir dire

Overview

TCI provides counsel with practical information on jury pool members so litigators can be as informed as possible during voir dire, make tactical peremptory challenges, and have better context when choosing questions to ask (as well as questions to avoid).

TCI augments court-provided information about age, occupation, etc. with specific information on:

    • Political leanings
    • Litigation history
    • Criminal history
    • Traffic violation history
    • Bankruptcies, liens, and judgments
    • Evictions and foreclosures
    • Business ownership
    • Property ownership
    • Previous employment
    • Regional history
    • Parental status
    • Personal experience germane to the case

In jurisdictions which provide jury pool information in advance, TCI typically provides counsel with a spreadsheet for courtroom use. In jurisdictions which do not provide jury pool information in advance, TCI attends court and accomplishes as much as practical on-site, including from the counsel table.
